The Joy of Gardening Conference

July 12th and 13th, 2024

Joy of Gardening Conference will be held at the CH2M-Alumni Center on the Oregon State University campus located at 725 SW 26th Street, Corvallis, OR 97333.

Registration closes on July 5 so please register sooner rather than later. You don't want to take the chance that one or more of your classes has filled!

On campus parking: For campus lots, parking permits are required M-F from 8am – 5pm daily. If you want to buy a visitor parking permit, click on this link: https://aims.parking.oregonstate.edu/

Parking on Saturday is free.

CONFERENCE BEGINS FRIDAY, July 12, 8 AM: Opening Remarks by Dr. Leslie Madsen: THE MASTER GARDENER PROGRAM 2024 AND BEYOND

To register to stay in the dorm, you must register on this site, on or before June 30.

Onsite lunches are available for purchase through this registration site ONLY. You will not be able to buy an onsite lunch at the event. Lunches must be reserved through this site by July 5.

Registration MUST be done online. Walk-ins cannot register onsite. All payments are non-refundable.

Keep in mind that there will be a silent auction and a book store for your shopping pleasure.

DORM INFORMATION & REGISTRATION

Halsell Hall is located within a 5-minute walk to the CH2M Hill Alumni Center.
All rooms in Halsell Hall are in apartment-style suites that include either two or four bedrooms; semi-private bathrooms; kitchenettes; and living rooms.
All suites in Halsell have bathrooms containing a shower, toilet, and sink; these are shared only with other residents of the suite.
No air conditioning is available. We recommend residents bring a fan for air circulation.
Single/1-bed rooms (one person per room): $45 for first night/$32 for second night
Double/2-bed rooms (two people per room): $40 for first night/ $25 for second night (per person cost)
Cost includes a basic linen set; pillow, pillowcase, two flat sheets, microfiber blanket, and towels.
Meals are available for purchase at Arnold Dining Center. It is located next to the dorm and is open from 7 AM to 8 PM.
Residents can request suitemates and/or roommates, however all members wishing to stay together must register to stay for the same night(s).
